1954 Series 1 Land Rover
This Series 1 Land Rover was presented to the wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill as a present from Rover on his 80th birthday. It included several non-standard features such as an extra-wide passenger seat, a fold-down armrest, and a leather-clad grab handle. A footwell heater was later added. After it was sold in 1973 by Chuchill's son-in-law, it was relegated to farm vehicle use until 1977, when it was retired into a barn. In 2014, the car was restored by Land Rover enthusiast Emil Frey Group and reappeared in the public in June in Switzerland.
