1960 Aston Martin DB4GT Bertone Jet
A marvel combination of British engineering and Italian flair, "The Aston Marvel," as this one-off coupe was called, debuted in 1961 to much fanfare. At the time, the DB4GT was the marque's most expensive model, boasting a 3.7-liter, twin-cam racing engine. Sir Stirling Moss won back-to-back victories at Silverstone in a pair of DB4's, the latter DB4GT having been given an even more powerful engine. Distinctly more muscular and powerful in appearance, the "Jet," which has won 12 awards from Pebble Beach to Villa D'Este, is an iconic example of automotive design.
