1961 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato
One of two ultra-lightweight aluminum bodywork DB4GT models made by Aston Martin, this Zagato was modified by John Ogier's team of ex-Aston mechanics under his Essex racing stable. Although damaged through two crashes, the vehicle was fully restored each time — a two-year process that returned it to its current immaculate condition. During that time, 2 VEV received even lower, lighter bodywork, more power from the 300 bhp+ engine, and a new grille incorporating sidelights. Since 1995, this race car has been officially retired from the track.
