This summer, the World Cup comes to Brazil, the country that perfected the "Beautiful Game." You know what we say to that? Blah, blah blah, blah blah. A rich tradition of excellence is great and all, but the best way to get into soccer is to take an aggressive dislike to someone on not-your-team. You can have your fancy passing and your gorgeous freekicks; we'd rather spend our time screaming at these 14 divers, cheaters, and all-around dirtbags.
Didier Drogba, Cote d'Ivoire
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who would most definitely be on the villains list if he brought his talents to bear on a national team, called his former player a "diver." And he's not wrong. Give Drogba a little nudge or a tap on the shin and he'll launch his body into the air like an expendable extra from a Michael Bay movie. On the other hand, he almost single-handedly brought a ceasefire to his native country, so his villainy is at least contained to the field.
