What Chicago's Men of the Year Want for the Holidays
The chestnuts are roasting on an open fire. Jack Frost is nipping at your nose. Yuletide carols are being sung by a choir. And last week, in celebration of the Gear of the Year, 'Men's Journal' opened up its Gear Lab pop-up store in downtown Chicago, featuring an assortment of MJ Approved items. In addition, 21 local luminaries – everyone from Scottie Pippen and Luke Donald to restaurateur Jerrod Melman and sportscaster Mark Giangreco – were honored as Chicago's 2012 Men of the Year. We talked to the honorees and asked them what they wanted most for the holidays. The best answers are featured in the gallery below.
