F.M. Light & Sons opened for business in 1905 as the only men's clothier in Steamboat Springs. During the Great Depression, rather than wait for ranchers and farmers to come to them, the Lights struck out in a traveling wagon, bringing their goods to far-flung homes in the countryside. They kept the business aflout and five generations later, F.M. Light is still a great source for the top names in the westernwear, including Levi's, Rockmount, Woolrich, and Schaefer.
