Aqua by El Gaucho in Seattle, Washington
Sitting at the tip of Pier 70, floor-to-ceiling windows at this restaurant provide unobstructed views of Elliott Bay. Sprawling in the background, and adding another dimension to the views, is the picturesque Olympic Mountain range. Make a reservation that coincides with sunset and you’ll be treated to evening skies that have been painted in brilliant shades of sherbet.
Menu standout: Steak or seafood? It’s hard to choose. But if you love the complex notes of a dry-aged steak, the restaurant has some great selections, including a 28-day, dry-aged Certified Angus Beef steak. Steaks are prepared on a charcoal grill in an open exhibition-style kitchen.
