Cinnamon whiskey is finally starting to slow down and many bartenders are hoping it disappears altogether in 2017. This year, even nice cocktail bars were making a cinnamon syrup to have an option for guests who wanted Fireball. “I really don’t get annoyed at guest trends or requests behind the bar,” says Bill Brooks, Beverage Director at The Cannibal Liquor House in New York. “If people want Fireball, I will make my own Fireball (or better yet use Jim Meehan’s recipe — it’s great).”
