Diners love to be surprised by the #ZBoftheWeek at Zombie Burger in Des Moines, Iowa. Executive Chef Tom McKern focuses on making great burgers with quality ingredients and, of course, a ton of weird toppings, often seemingly at odds with each other. Our favorite? The “I Ain’t Afraid of No Ghost” burger, topped with beef patties, pulled pork, pepper jack cheese, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, chipotle mayo, and a sauce made from ghost chiles and, yup, Hi-C Ecto Cooler.
