Established in 2008, Michigan’s Madcap has specialty coffee offerings that result from strong relationships at every step of the supply chain, from sourcing and buying to roasting to retail and wholesale.
As is the case with many third wave coffee roasters, at Madcap, every coffee has a story, and the “sustainable” philosophy that’s part of many independent roasters’ narrative translates here to every coffee on the menu being traced back to the farm or co-op where it was produced, many of which are in remote areas of the world.
Madcap currently offers up to 20 different coffees each year (after tasting through thousands). A recent release from Inza is said to release the rare coffee’s bright, floral, and syrupy sweet flavors.
