Mugwort: Ryan Te of Oiji

"I don’t know why, but it seems like 2016 was a tough year for most of us, so on that note I feel like the pull toward ‘new year, new me’ is going to be particularly strong,” says Ryan Te, Head Bartender at Oiji in New York. The answer? Mugwort. Its health benefits include antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic properties. It also helps with digestion and has been used to relieve stress and anxiety.
