Brad Gruno's Coco Mint Smoothie: Best Smoothie Recipes

In true Brad's Raw style, this smoothie is loaded with natural ingredients and strong flavors. It calls for a teaspoon of spirulina, which is a protein-rich algae that's packed with nutrients, including vitamin B, beta-carotene, iron, and essential fatty acids. 

Coco Mint Smoothie

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • ½ cup coconut water
  • 2 cups nondairy milk
  • 1 avocado, peeled and pitted
  • ¼ cup pitted dates, coarsely chopped
  • ½ vanilla bean, scraped, or 1-teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-teaspoon spirulina

Preparation: Place the ingredients into a blender in the order listed and blend until desired consistency.
