This California-brewed saison deviates from the normal grain bill by adding malted rye. The grain complements the already dry, spicy nature of a saison. The Bruery further pushes the style limits by bottling Saison Rue with wild yeast so that as the beer ages, it will continue to dry out while developing sour, earthy undertones.
