Specialized S-Works Prevail II

The Specialized Prevail was already one of the lightest and best-fitting helmets on the market, but Specialized decided to make it better anyway. To do so, they took the original Prevail to their in-house WinTunnel to maximize aerodynamics without compromising weight and comfort. Released at the start of last year's Tour de France, the new Prevail II is sleeker than its predecessor but doesn't compromise any of the features that made the original so popular. Long channels and deep vents on the sides and top of the helmet work with exhaust ports on the front and back to maximize airflow for increased cooling and moisture evaporation. Thin, soft, and lightweight DryLite webbing doesn't soak-up sweat and water, while pads inside the brow of the helmet block sweat while resting comfortably against your forehead. And despite weighing-in at an incredible 200 grams, the Prevail II still offers all of the features you need to keep your head safe including energy-optimized multi-density foam and an aramid-reinforced internal skeleton for added support.
