Evil Bikes The Calling

Evil Bikes say its new 27.5 carbon-fiber Calling feels more like your favorite skate-, surf-, or snowboard than a bike. Playful and fun, the all-mountain bike offers enough rear travel (131mm) to encourage you to act somewhat irresponsibly — but not so much that your ambition starts writing checks your body can’t afford to cash. The Calling’s geometry is long and low for downhill stability and confidence, but with a seat tube angle that’s aggressive enough to help you go uphill as well. The carbon-fiber frameset features internal cable routing, a rear axle that bolts directly into the derailleur hanger for stiffness, and an integrated chain guide. Evil knows how much “love” the bike is going to get, so it includes mounts for a lower chain guide and bashguard and rubberized protection on the downtube, chainstay, and seat stays.
