2018 Dodge Challenger T/A

The 808-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Demon may be stealing all the headlines, but for our money, we’d go with the Challenger T/A, which goes full retro, visually, while hiding some useful and modern performance goodies. The T/A’s makes the Challenger’s throwback appearance and one-ups it with black decals, script logos, air-catcher headlights, houndstooth seats, and optional hood pins. In the go-fast department, aside from its 5.7-liter 375-hp V8, the T/A gets a louder, active exhaust, a lowered suspension, and stickier tires. Luckily, its cabin tech is not throwback at all: the 8.4” touchscreen UConnect system is one of the best infotainment systems going. We’re not sure there’s a car we’d rather drive cross country in.
