Elan Ripstick 106

Springy was the word testers used most to describe the Ripstick. That's largely due to the two carbon tubes running along the arc of the ski's camber. When skiers apply downward pressure and then lift up, the tubes snap back, creating a trampoline-like effect. It was appreciated at Deer Valley, Utah, where testers effortlessly transitioned from turn to turn in a foot of powder. [$800; skis.com]
