The Family Sedan
2016 Honda Accord Sport
Spend a week with a Honda Accord Sport ($22,205) — nay, a day — and feel the difference of shifting for yourself in a relatively simple class of car. That’s not to say that it’s not fun to drive the Accord. On the contrary, if you must shop for a family sedan, you would be remiss to leave the Accord off the list, if driving fun is at all a decision-breaker.
Also consider: Aside from the Accord, there isn’t a family sedan that packs as much performance punch than the 184-hp Mazda6 ($21,495) does. Buy it for the six-speed manual, and savor its class-above looks every day.
