The Pickup Truck
2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel
Stick shifts still have a place in American pickup trucks, and the Chevrolet Colorado ($20,100) is the truck of the moment. Sadly, the six-speed manual is relegated only to the very specific 2WD extended cab body style, paired with the uninspired inline four-cylinder engine — but, hey, it’s a solid effort.
Also consider: There’s only one number you need to know about the Ram 2500: 800, as in the amount of torque that its 6.7-liter turbodiesel produces. Never has a six-speed manual been able to move mountains, until recently.
