Although its effectiveness is diminished compared with past 'Call of Duty' titles, the Dropshot remains a powerful way to thwart enemy attacks. Wyatt recommends jumping into the control settings menu and switching your button layout to "Tactical," which swaps the functionality of the B button, and then clicking the right analog stick. This allows you to go into a prone position without taking your thumb off the analog stick. "This can drastically throw off the enemy's aim and ability to target you, [especially] during one-on-one encounters," says Wyatt. "It takes some time getting used to changing your controller layout, but trust me, it's worth the time invested to become acclimated with your new layout. Try doing this with Dual Kap-40s – works like a charm."
