Sony XBR 4K Ultra HD TV

Sony XBR 4K Ultra HD TV

When the first 4K televisions appeared, prices topped $25,000. It made sense: They boast a hyper-real picture, courtesy of their more than 8 million pixels – four times that of a standard 1080p HDTV. Now, a little less than a year later, the Sony XBR 4K Ultra HD TV offers the same color reproduction and deep black levels but for a fifth of the initial cost. And the set, perched on a silver halo stand that seems to float, is more than mere pixels: Two pairs of the thinnest-possible 65-watt magnetic-fluid speakers sit next to the screen, churning out a sound immersive enough to complement the set's next-gen picture.
