Today, we’re talking toothbrushes. While there are countless makes and models on the market, there are a handful of players dedicated to changing the game and making it easier than ever for us to stay on top of our oral health. Discover three of our new favorite brands that need to be on your radar.

Quip

It’s finally time to swap out that old toothbrush — you know, the one you bought on sale three years ago with the frayed bristles and toothpaste caked on the handle. Treat yourself to an upgrade with quip. The mindfully crafted, electric toothbrush is simplistic and stylish, and available in a variety of colors such as blue, silver, and slate. It’s also reasonably priced, starting at just $25.

Quip is a subscription-based oral care line with a range of different plans. So without having to think about it, they’ll ship a new brush head to your home every three months as part of their automatic refill plan. It features 30-second pulses so you can ensure you’re brushing for the recommended two minutes every time you pick it up. You can also keep it on the counter or bring it on the go thanks to its convenient adhesive wall mount that doubles as a travel cap.

Kolibree

For tech-geeks, Kolibree is the brush for you. It uses a combination of artificial intelligence, Bluetooth technology, and sonic vibration to ensure you’re expertly cleaning those pearly whites. And at $100, it’s likely the best bang for your buck as far as smart toothbrushes go.

The induction charger base is discreet, and a single charge will last up to two weeks. But what really sets this brush apart is the Kolibree app. It gives real-time feedback on your techniques, tracks your data, and provides personalized, visual recommendations to optimize your routine. You can even connect the whole family through the app and encourage better brushing habits for children through timed games and in-app reward badges. Their new Ara model (above), starting at $129, has even more features, like 3-D motion sensors, accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer.

FOREO ISSA

If you find yourself complaining about tooth sensitivity, you’re not alone. It’s estimated that more than 40 million adults in America suffer from sensitive teeth. With this in mind, FOREO created ISSA, a unique electric toothbrush made of non-irritating silicon.

One charge will last for 365 uses (approximately six months), making it extremely convenient for those with limited counter space or busy travel schedules. The ISSA also features pulsing technology, allowing you to customize the duration based on your preferred brushing habits. Sure, it’s a bit of an investment at $199 but users swear by it. The silicone bristles cause an unusual sensation at first, but they’re surprisingly efficient, leaving your gums massaged and teeth squeaky clean. Grab yours in colors like mint, cool black, or cobalt blue. There are also several ISSA options for kids.
