Advanced Fitness Trackers

Fitness tracker functionality has never been better. Some can even measure VO2 max, which leads most guys to wonder, “What is VO2 max?” The point is you probably don’t need to upgrade your current FitBit to the newer, fancier version. Plus, research shows that access to all that personal data tends to help only those who are highly motivated in the first place.

Instead: Take the $150 and spend it on a pack of fitness classes with a 30-day expiration date. Not wanting to forfeit workouts you’ve already paid for is more likely to keep you accountable than a new bracelet and an easy-to-ignore personal dashboard.
