Start from a crab position, with your hands turned toward your feet and your butt in the air. Use your right hand to touch your lifted left foot, making the connection across your body. Repeat that on the other side. By forcing yourself to hold yourself up on opposite — and unstable — limbs, you're messing with your center of gravity, forcing your core to compensate.
