If you see partially hydrogenated oil in the ingredient list, stay away. PHOs are a type of added trans fat, which the FDA is considering banning in food altogether.

Palm kernel oil, a highly saturated fat, has been replacing trans fats in many packaged foods and is commonly used in coatings on bars. Before you bother reading the label, you may first ask yourself why you are eating a glorified candy bar as a meal replacement in the first place.
