Hang Out in the Hot Tub
If you have access to a hot tub, make sure you use it. “It’s not a ‘cure all,’ but it can help,” says Dr. Scott Schreiber, a chiropractic physician double board certified in rehabilitation and clinical nutrition. “The hot water combined with the jets brings blood to the area submerged, allowing tissue to relax and become more mobile.” So go ahead and hit the hot tub a couple times a day. Schreiber suggests keeping sessions to less than 20 minutes at a time, but adds that it’s fine to double-up, using it in the morning, evening, or after exercise.
