Toes to Bar

The toes to bar is a dynamic gymnastics movement that will work your abs but also challenge your grip and shoulder strength. Yes, it’s difficult, but don’t get frustrated. To master this movement, you first need to nail the kip swing. The kip swing is a movement that generates momentum by rocking back and forth. This momentum in turn will allow us to raise our feet and kick the pull-up bar. From a dead-hang position on a pull-up bar, swing your feet back and let your chest come forward, rocking back and forth to get momentum. Pull your knees toward your elbows, then extend your legs so your feet hit the bar.
