How to Fix Your Neck Pain
Theraband Abduction Y's
- Stand with your feet hip width apart.
- Hold one end of a Thera Band (or light resistance band) in each hand with your thumbs pointed up.
- Starting with your hands by your hips, pull the ends of the band apart.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades down and back and hold them there throughout the entire movement.
- Maintaining the tension in the band, raise your arms to shoulder height or slightly higher (as long as it doesn't hurt). Keep your abs engaged the whole time, and don't arch your back.
- Slowly lower the band to return to the starting position.
