Band-Resisted Broad Jump

Nothing like trying to make leaps and bounds when something is literally holding you back. Start by hooking a long, thick band around an anchor and wrapping the other end around your waist like a belt. Walk forward until there's a little tension in the band. Execute a broad jump, making sure to land on the balls of your feet with your knees bent, hips back, and chest up. Then get ready to backtrack: The band's going to pull you backward.
