It isn't always about you.

It's tempting to constantly be involved, especially if you're looking to stay in shape as well as have fun with the family. Sometimes, though, it's important to let kids do their own thing, even if that means spending time on the bench. And you might have better luck if they pick the activity instead of you. Even though Wade has been a major basketball star since he propelled Marquette into the Final Four in 2003, he never pushed his children into the sport that's defined his life. "[My kids] like basketball – it's not something I had to force onto them," says Wade. "I don't be on them too much. I just enjoy watching them play."
