Lifestyle changes to maintain sperm count caused by consumption of saturated fat.

A recent Danish study of more than 700 men found that eating saturated fat can lower sperm count by a whopping 41 percent. Low sperm count, in turn, seriously jeopardizes fertility. "Men often ask about lifestyle changes that can increase sperm count," says Dartmouth infertility specialist Dr. Jill Attaman. "Consuming less than 10 percent of your daily calories from saturated fats and eating omega-3 fatty acids found in cold-water fish and nuts could make a difference."
