How to Make a Chia-Kale Smoothie (Video)

When he isn't courting danger in Djibouti or lending his services to the U.S. Ski Team, Dr. Bob Arnot is busy finding ways to treat diabetes, prevent coronary artery disease, and – perhaps most importantly – combat America's obesity epidemic. And according to "Dr. Bob," who has been our in-house doc since 2004, there's no healthier way to start the day than with his 314-calorie chia-kale smoothie, which packs 100-times more nutrients than an all-American cheeseburger, fries, and soft drink. "Here you have probably the healthiest breakfast possible, anyplace on Earth," he says. Best of all, its near instantaneous prep time, documented in the video above, means there's no excuse for skipping breakfast ever again.

• 2 cups frozen kale
• 2 cups frozen collards
• 3 scoops chia seeds
• 1/2-cup blueberries
• 1/2-cup non-fat Greek yogurt
• 10 ounces water
• Honey or Stevia, to taste

Combine ingredients in a blender and process until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
