Recently unretired Lance Armstrong says he just can’t stay off the bike, and he wants to help you saddle up too. In May his 18,000-square-foot bike shop made its debut in Austin, Texas, and it’s much more than just a place to buy a new ride.

Check out Tour de France memorabilia (including all seven jerseys), art from Armstrong’s own collection (including a 11-by-17-foot graffiti piece by Gomez), and bikes you can’t ever own because Lance beat you to them, like a $15,000 handmade machine from Naked Cycles’ Sam Whittingham.
Hit the Showers
In its previous life Mellow Johnny’s was a homeless shelter. Rather than stripping out the showers, Armstrong kept them intact to promote bicycle commuting: Ride to work, shower, and off you go. Commuters pay just $1 for all-day bike storage, day locker, shower, soap, and towel.
Fuel Up
Grab locally roasted organic fair-trade coffee from Texas Coffee Traders or ready-to-go grub from Bess, Sandra Bullock’s nearby restaurant, at the in-house Juan Pelota Café. Who the hell is Juan Pelota? Know that pelota is Spanish for “ball” and say it out loud. If we have to spell it out any further…

It will be ineresting to see if the old adage of “there’s no such thing as bad publicity” holds true as more allegations against Lance come out in Agent Novitzky’s investigation and business at Mellow Jonny’s either increases or decreases.
