Saturday, 10/29, 7 PM: #13 Boise State at Wyoming
Last week Boise State escaped with a one-point victory over BYU in a game in which their opponents attempted a fake punt from their own end zone on 4th and 19. I have no idea why this happened, and I don't really feel up to discussing it, but the point is that the Broncos are now 7-0 and more then likely will finish the 2016 campaign undefeated. While strength-of-schedule issues will prevent them from getting close to the playoffs, it must be stated that this is a program which is now a decade plus into a run of sustained excellence, and there is every reason to believe they will stay good for a long time. Wyoming is a 5-2 team bereft of a significant win, who lost by five touchdowns in their only big-time test against Nebraska. Look for the Cowboys to keep it close for a half and fade late.
