Saturday 12 PM: #4 Texas A&M vs. Mississippi State
In what was supposed to be a down year for the Death Star known as the South Eastern Conference, we now have two SEC West clubs ranked in the top four in the initial CFP rankings, and three other SEC clubs scattered amongst the top 13. So maybe next year. Many were surprised to see the 7-1 Aggies ranked above unbeaten Washington, but quality wins over UCLA, Auburn, Arkansas, and Tennessee make the decision more than justified. A&M should theoretically have a bit of a break in Starkville, where an underachieving Mississippi State team has home losses to LSU and South Alabama en-route to a 3-5 start. But you know how these things go sometimes. Does Dak Prescott have any eligibility left?
