Saturday 12 PM: Kentucky at #11 Louisville
Louisville's loss to Houston last week wasn't a complete shock, but the manner in which the Cougars dominated on defense - sacking Heisman Trophy favorite Lamar Jackson a staggering eleven times - was startling indeed. For those of us who wondered what magic Jackson might be able to pull off against Alabama in a playoff and how Bobby Petrino might just get a hold of Nick Saban's playbook in the process, the result was something of a disappointment. Those hopes are dashed now, so this is now all about burnishing the year-end bonafides of the transcendent Jackson. He remains by far the season's most electrifying presence and it would be a shame for a late loss to mitigate the genius of his 2016 campaign. Tricky 6-5 Kentucky has the ability to make this close.
