Saturday, 7 PM: Wake Forest at #6 Louisville
The Cardinals had no trouble against Boston College last week, winning a 52-7 laugher. They are now 8-1, possess perhaps the nations best overall player in quarterback Lamar Jackson and are one razor thin loss at Clemson from being a dark horse national championship contender. Nevertheless, Bobby Petrino's team possesses no obvious path to the playoff and will need plenty of help getting there. (I'm not saying Apple Bowl, but I'm not NOT saying it.) In the meantime, they look to take care of business against a high-effort, under talented Demon Deacons team that has won five games and been competitive every week, but also lost to Army. Everything will have to break right for Wake Forest to keep it close.
