Saturday 8 PM: #3 Clemson vs. #23 Virginia Tech
Clemson played one of their best games of the season last week, dismantling in-state rival South Carolina 56-7. Now 11-1, they head into the ACC Championship game bearing more resemblance to the juggernaut that challenged Alabama in last year's national championship game, rather than the frequently wobbly version which has made a number of narrow escapes in 2016. They're good for sure, but with no margin for error in terms of making the playoffs, they can still make you nervous. Virginia Tech lacks the Tigers' top tier talent, but has won six of their last seven and are capable on both sides of the ball. Another of Clemson's inexplicably flat efforts could allow the playoffs to be thrown into chaos.
