The 8 Best Final Four Teams Ever

1965 Princeton Tigers

Back in the day — the day being the middle 60's through the middle 70's — college basketball was pretty much synonymous with UCLA. During the stretch between 1964 and 1975, John Wooden's teams won an astounding ten national championships. By and large, everyone else was playing for second place. Princeton's 1965 team actually finished third, but they were the coolest team in the tournament, led by the dead-eyed jumper of future Knicks' great and US Senator Bill Bradley. Despite losing to Michigan in the semi-finals Bradley was named the tournament's MVP and the legend of that extraordinary run remains fresh in the mind of basketball old timers. No Ivy League school has been back to the Final Four since.
