Is this the year Milwaukee finally fulfills its potential?
Conversely, the Milwaukee Bucks have been promising for the last couple of years to be a team who'll shake things up in the Eastern Conference. A variety of factors — injuries, mostly, along with growing pains and a measure of bad luck — means that they've failed to do so, but perhaps this is the year that they'll live up to their potential. They certainly have the tools — in Giannis Antetoukoumpo, they have a player who could legitimately change the game, and there's also legit scoring in the form of Jabari Parker, plenty of young talent, and an excellent coach in Jason Kidd. Losing starting shooting guard Khris Middleton to what must be a terrible hamstring injury — he's out for six months! — is a blow, but there's still more than enough talent here to make some noise in the playoffs.
