Engulf yourself in this mid-thigh-length parka and stay warm on the coldest winter days. The 2-layer polyester (50 recycled) shell has a waterproof/breathable H2No barrier and a moisture-shedding Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish. It's insulated with toasty, 600-fill-power goose down, in a quilted lining of polyester taffeta (50 recycled). Princess seaming on the front and back lends a contoured, feminine look. The down-insulated hood adjusts at the pile-trimmed face and at the back. The high, zip-through stand-up collar has a soft microfleece chin flap. A snap-down double wind flap protects the full-front zipper. With high zippered handwarmer pockets, drop-in zippered lower pockets, a napoleon pocket and an internal vertical pocket.

Great Whistle x's 2
These are made by Fox40 and very loud for their size. I use these in two small survival kits made with other Adventure Medical items, so the compact size is great. Always carry a whistle!

A real howler
If you got a hiking partner that's a dog, this whistle is a must. The signal carries far and intensely loud.

Necessary addition to anyone's survival gear list
I bought two of these whistles, one for me and one for my girlfriend. I have them zip-tied to the shoulder strap of each of our expedition packs. They are loud, simply constructed, and very lightweight. There is no ball so one shouldn't expect the warble sound from this whistle; just a constant (and loud) high pitched tone. Also works well to call in dogs who enjoy off-trail exploration!
