WaterTight zippers eliminate the need for bulky, heavy flaps and the laminated construction pulls it all together without the need for fabric weakening stitches and the additional fabric needed to sew one section of fabric to another. Whether belaying from an awkward stance or skinning across a crevasse minefield, the removable HemLock keeps the jacket from creeping out from under your climbing harness. At the same time no-lift gusseted underarms and articulated elbows help the Arc'teryx Alpha SV Jacket remain comfortably positioned so you can focus on the task at hand.

Everyone knows it is a perfect jacket
Arcterxy is the best brand of all gear brands.Alpha sv is the best jacket of Arcterxy.It is made in Canada.The hood is work great in high winds. The cut fits really well.Breathes exceptionally well.A bit expensive, but worth the money.

This jacket is incredible
don't care what anyone says - this is the ultimate mountaineering/skiing/climbing jacket on the market today. The construction, fit, and finish of this Jacket is the finest I've seen. it has everything you need, and nothing that you don't. It has a comfortable, athletic fit that drops below the waist for good coverage, excellent zippers and beautiful stitching
