This season, don't just survive big mountain weather, charge right through it with the Arc'teryx Men's Sidewinder SV Jacket. The 480N MG GORE-TEX 3-layer Pro fabric features a revolutionary Micro Grid woven backer that is very durable, breathable, and allows for reduced seam allowances and narrower taped seams. This makes the jacket lighter and more supple. Laminated construction techniques provide the clean, stylish finish that rightfully gives the jacket its signature Arc'teryx look. After all, Arc'teryx introduced this innovative construction technique to the outdoor industry in 1998, thereby opening the door to a new era of technical outerwear that cuts weight, improves garment strength, and reduces bulk. Additional performance features include two-way pit zips for ventilation, a helmet compatible Drop Hood with stealth brim adjuster, laminated powder skirt to seal out spindrift, and a Recco avalanche reflector. The Arc'teryx Sidewinder SV Jacket for men offers a roomy, articulated fit for maximum freedom of motion. It gets its name from the Sidewinder front zipper that tracks to the side of the chin for optimal comfort.
Great jacket!
Great jacket, lightweight, great for every day use and hiking. Perfect fit. Although pockets are too low when wearing a hipbelt. Hood fits perfectly with Edelrid helmet.
Great Jacket
Love the zipper configuration and overall quality. The hood adjustability is good enought to fit my helmet or use it without. All round great shell.
Best skiing jacket on the market!
I just got back from skiing in three feet of powder snow and this jacket was great. I stayed warm and dry with only a light fleece underneath. I am 6'1" and the XL fits great. The jacket is definitely a bit noisy especially if you buy the sidewinder pants.
great jacket
This was my go to jacket in everything but the coldest conditions. I loved it. The jacket is super tough. It has a nice streamlined look and pockets in the right places. My only beef with the jacket is that the hood is a pinch small when wearing a helmet. When conditions got brutal I would try to pull the hood up over my Giro helmet and it wouldn't fit. I works fine with my Bern helmet though.
