Waist and hem drawcords, articulated elbows, and no-lift gusseted underarms allow for full range of motion while blocking cold drafts and spindrift. Laminated zippers and bonded soft grommets contribute to the jacket's supple feel, and the one hand pull cords are exceedingly convenient when one hand is busy tending to a belay.

not to thick not to thin
This jacket is perfect. It's thick enough to keep the wind and water out, but thin enough to pack away. Love it!

Absolutely the Best
I bought this shell to replace an Alpha AR that was 5 years old. The Alpha is still fine but had to keep treating it with DVR to keep it water repellent. This new Theta is the same durable construction and lightweight. I can't wait to use it in an extreme place. The Theta is also made in Canada, like my Alpha. Most Arc'teryx is now made in China. I am still a fan of the Canadian made. Great buy as a deal of the day!!!

Bombproof
This has to be the toughest Pro Shell jacket on the market. It might be a little overkill if you want something light and packable but it is a bomb shelter for the elements!

Excellent
This is a fine piece of outerwear. I have only had it for a matter of weeks, but it is well designed and appears very durable. I like the drop back as it keeps the tushy dry and it is absolutely waterproof/windproof. As a suggestion I would like to see double zipper in front and hood storage. Other than that, this is a class act. I am five foot tne and one half, 188lbs and the medium is fine, even with fleece beneath. Greg Bereznoff
