Very warm jacket
I purchased this jacket for the midwest. Thus far, it seems to be very warm and well made. I can go into the cold wind and not feel that biting chill. It keeps snow off well and the closers are sound. The only drawback is the outside material is soft, and might tend to tear easily. I have not torn it yet, but we'll see. I would recommend this coat for someone looking to keep warm, but not spend a large amount of money.

Sweet coat for a big guy...
I researched down coats for 3 weeks. This was the first coat I looked at, then went and looked at all the higher end lines from multiple websites. Ended up coming back to the first one I looked at and ordered it and I love it!! I'm 6'5", 280lb, I got the xxl and it fits great. Enough room to have layers, but you won't need it. Its the perfect length, sits halfway on my back pants pocket. It keeps me warm in the cold Michigan winters. Loving the pit zips and the two big inside pockets. Altrec got it two me quick with no hassels. And it was the cheapest place I could find it. Great coat for the price.

very warm nice jacket
I had this jacket for over 2 weeks now. This jacket provides absoloute warmth and seems to be water resistant enough. the only thing that I don't like is that this jacket can't be used for skiing due to its soft cover.

My son loves it!
I bought this jacket for my son and he loves it. He tells me it fits very well, and provides great warmth, especially the hood. The only other comment he had was that he wishes it was a little longer. Although we had some difficulty with a "stocking" issue, it was resolved satisfactorily.
