Featuring GoLite Footwear's first high performance Paw Pad sole, the Men's Pak Lite Hiking Boot utilizes two densities of polyurethane; the softer one manages the inconsistencies of the terrain while the firmer layer stabilizes your foot. A high quality natural leather is molded into a NewoForm upper, with an anatomically accurate Trail Strike fit. Anatomical shaping around the foot allows toes to spread out as the foot strikes, while a sculpted foot bed holds the foot in place on ascents and descents. A GripStick Rubber outsole offers extra traction on every surface imaginable.

Trash can stuffers
The top of the boot around the ankle is not properly padded - just a tightly rolled piece of foam at the very top of the boot that digs into your ankle. Tried cutting the padding away, but there is a seam on the outside of the boot that also chafes. If you have to walk more than a mile or two, forget it; you will be hurting - real bad.
