The Kelty Sling Bag looks like a bag used by civilians, but the inside reveals storage and organization for a tactical mission. The Kelty Sling Bag looks like a bag used by civilians, but the inside reveals storage and organization for a tactical mission. Access to internal storage is fast and efficient but secure. The main compartment has a rigid back with loop-sided Velcro. This allows the user to customize the compartment with any hook-sided accessory.
great for the designed purpose
I got the Kelty sling bag for what it was designed for- legal concealed carry, and it has worked admirably. I can fit just enough extraneous equipment in it that I can use it as a "man-purse" to conceal its real purpose. I can fit a SIG P239, 2 extra magazines, a GSW aid kit, as well as my wallet, a flashlight, and CPR mask. It rides very comfortably and you can't even really tell it's there, even fully loaded. I can swing it around to the front while where it to access it without taking it off. I would highly recommend this bag for what it's designed purpose is.
great sling bag
Very practical pack, like the internal pockets. The padded back panel keeps the pack upright and firm against the body. I have actually been shopping around for a replacement of an earlier sling pack and now have one superior to the old one. Like it!
Nice solid bag
A bit smaller then I expected, but that's my fault for not paying closer attention. I was going to use it to put my shoes in while skiing. It'll fit a pair of Vans maybe.
Ridiculously small and horribly overpriced
Kelty quality is the only plus. This is way too small to be anything but a horizontally hung waist pack! At this price point, it should have been bigger and therefore much less noticeable as something different i.e. a weapon carrier.
Great Design/Immasculating size
It shows a really innovative approach to concealed kit, but the size makes you look like your carrying a purse. If this is ever offered in something bigger you should buy it and tell someone about it.
