Topping the charts year after year, the Original's legendary, cozy, windblocking warmth is now being handed down from one generation to the next.
Nothing can be said
that has not already been said over and over in these reviews. Its magic and amazing. Totally worth the price. The only way I would improve it is to make it more durable for rock climbing, maybe have schoeller dryskin patches on the elbows and shoulders?
Versatile and Must Have for your closet
I was looking for something an old Nike running jacket as it didn't seem to fit my needs anymore(not as breathable and no longer water resistant). I used the Driclime shirt for a week and it was exactly what I wanted for chilly morning runs. When the weather turned warm, I thought I would have to put it away for the season, but found myself using it everyday during the light rain and variable, transitional weather. I also went on a recent business trip and instead of taking a sweater for the flight or very cold air conditioned places, I packed this. Like other, I could see how this could be paired with other layers depending on your activity or the weather. And the best thing, the water resistant properties are mechanical and not chemical. This means the water resistant feature won't be impacted by the washing machine - which is what I think what happened to my old running jacket.
windproof and breathable
I heard this "magic" Driclime shirt from a friend. I tested it out at the very first day: I run about a mile to attend a seminar on a very windy day. Although I was sweating at the beginning of the seminar, I didn't take it off. :-) It's so breathable that I was dry even before the introduction part ended. The shirt works perfectly for Spring/Fall time activities, it keeps you warm (but not hot)in windy days. I bought another one for my son's little league training, I should admit that the Driclime shirt is DESIGNED for that kind of situation. It's so light, I can almost put it in my pocket (well, almost). Just keep in mind that it is NOT for severe weathers, it is NOT waterproof & bulletproof, don't try it under a storm. It's not very stylish (it was designed in 1990's), just a very light, very versatile, windproof shirt that you may love to wear under the sunshine.
Great shirt - Very Light
Shirt is very light and wicks away any moisture. Looks good as well.
A must for outdoors people
This is my second one in 10 yrs & I still just love having one. It works as a great baselayer, mid layer & as a windbreaker jacket. It's ridiculously versatile, has an incredible warmth to weight ratio & is simply a must. Worth every penny, I will always own one of these.
