I'm on my feet all day at work, and these have been great. The Intercept is my third pair of Merrell's. I will keep buying them. Great shoes.

Purchased a second pair
Love these shoes! Very comfortable and have many miles on them. Soles wore out after about a year of mostly walking on pavement but uppers are solid. Can't wait to start wearing the new ones. Awesome product Merrell and awesome price Altrec!

Super cozy
I've been wearing Merrells for years. So much, in fact, once I find a style I like I purchase several pair in case they are discontinued. Ihave had 6 pair of the Merrell Ventilator model and worn them all out so it was now time to get a new pair. The Intercept was on sale so I thought I would try a new style and so far I haven't been disappointed. They are a little stiff for the first few wears since the upper is such thick leather but they break in well and quickly. I have found them so comfortable that they are all I wear. Good arch support and a nice tread to avoid slippage when walking. What I like about these shoes and most Merrells is the way the sole meets the leather upper, there is little to no possibility of separation even after a lot of wear. What I have found is the inside of the shoe wears out before the external shell and even that takes a year or so of constant use. The internal support will sag but by then the rest of the shoe is about ready to be replaced. I love the way the whole shoe wear at the same pace. I anticipate these shoes will hold up as well as all my others and have found a new style to direct my future shoe purchases.

I Have Already Used Mine in Snow!!!
I already have a pair of Merrell slip on winter boots. They have great grip but not much support for taking those Winter walks. My new Intercept's work great in the snow and ice that we had a couple of weeks ago.
