On high-impact days when the ascent is as challenging as the descent, reach for The Mountain Hardwear Kramer Jacket for Men, a technical ski jacket. Waterproof hard shell panels protect the head, torso, and shoulders. Breathable soft shell hood, arm, and side panels stretch and shed heat.
Great
Very well designed jacket with great quality.
Great jacket, fits perfect
I haven't bought a new outer shell in a few years, but after my 3 layer GoreTex shell was stolen from my truck I broke down and bought the Kramer. Simply, this jacket is awesome, I bought a small, I'm 5'10" and about 145, and it fits perfect, everywhere. It keeps me dry and warm with just a long sleeve T in temps around 30-40F, and feels like it breathes better than my old GoreTex jacket. Not only that, but it's loaded with tons of little features like pockets, zips, and drawstrings in a way that makes you feel like the designers really know what makes a great jacket.
Great jacket!
Great jacket! Quality materials! Tons of pockets! My only comment is that it runs small through the arms/shoulder holes. Keep that in mind if you plan on layering for cold weather skiing and size up.
Good fit
I used the jacket for skiing in Tahoe 2 weeks ago. It worked great with a light fleece underneath. The removable snow-skirt and hood have made it more versatile for other uses as well. I am a stocky 5'10 200 pounds and the large fit great! Overall I am glad I went with MH.
Good, but not for layering
when worn alone its a good jacket, but layering on the slopes and the arms get too tight.
